Designed for a more casual look compared to its sibling product, Yoom Soft has a down-feather cover encasing the upholstery foam for a softer appearance and more relaxed fit. The same options, stitch styles, and configurations available on Yoom are offered on Yoom Soft, including easy reconfigurability, the hallmark of the line.
User-reconfigurability is encouraged with the use of a “no-tools”, forked latch ganging system and components that all fit together in many different ways. Chairs incorporate Dymetrol webbing in the seat for added comfort. Cushions are made up of a 50% down and 50% feather blend encasing polyurethane foam for lasting comfort.
Three wall heights and two seat depths are available. Two distinct upholstery styles create the opportunity to customize any setup. Plastic glides are offered with optional rubber or felt snap-on bottoms. Casters and power ports are additional options.
Anthony Land was born in Hatboro, Pennsylvania. His interest in both the arts and sciences led him to study design, attending schools in the U.S. as well as Italy. After earning an Industrial Design degree from Philadelphia University, he began working full time at Stylex as a product designer and developer.
