STYLEX WINS AGAIN!
(Chicago, IL – December 2010) Stylex is pleased to announce that the Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies recently honored SAVA® with a 2010 GOOD DESIGN Award. Since its launch at NeoCon, the multi-purpose office chair has been well received by critics, designers and architects alike. It was awarded the Best of NeoCon’s People’s Choice Award as well as two nominations for Interior Design’s 2010 “Best of Year” Awards.
Available for task and conference applications, SAVA® was designed by the accomplished architect Sava Cvek to deliver high performance and aesthetically appealing form to the workplace. Trained and educated at the Harvard University Graduate School of Design, Cvek developed the chair to ensure maximum comfort and a full range of motion through its patented “Balanced Tilt” mechanism. It is designed to distribute tension evenly through a dual-spring system that assists the user’s posture whether in a reclined or upright position. SAVA®, whose primary structural components are cast aluminum, is up to 98% recyclable and, along with all Stylex products, is Greenguard certified.
