A Year Later: Remembering Sandy

The sobering effects of Hurricane Sandy are still taking their toll on coastal areas of New York and New Jersey. At Stylex, we wanted to find a way to give back to our community by aiding those who are still recovering.  We learned about the Hugh J. Boyd Elementary School, based in Seaside Heights, that was forced to close due to extensive flooding.  With over 200 children homeless, administrators had to grapple with the both emotional and physical damages caused by the storm. While the school was able to reopen this past September, they’re still in the process of returning to their pre-Sandy condition. To support recovery efforts, Stylex will be donating Click chairs to the teaching staff and are proposing a challenge on our Facebook page: every new Like we get by November 13 will go towards the donation of more chairs.  So visit our Facebook page and “Click” LIKE. You can join the Stylex community and help a worthy cause in the process!
