Don Albinson

After graduating from Cranbrook Academy of Art in Michigan, Mr. Albinson worked with noted mid-century modernists Eero Saarinen and Charles Eames, eventually opening his own industrial design firm in Los Angeles. He then went on to serve as director of design for Knoll and as a seating and office systems design consultant for Westinghouse. Albinson returned to Southern California as an instructor of industrial design at UCLA. He passed away in 2008.
