Stylex Introduces Verve

Stylex Introduces Verve: Multi-Purpose Seating For Guest And Conference Applications
Design by Mark Kapka

(May 2016—Delanco, NJ) — New for NeoCon 2016, Stylex introduces Verve, a versatile plastic shell chair program that offers inspiring, affordable, ergonomic seating for the flexible spaces where people now meet and work.   With office footprints shrinking, specifiers demand appropriately scaled products that will not compromise user experience. Verve addresses this need through its broad offering of models and options.

Verve is characterized by its beautifully sculpted shell. Optional arms and bases are neatly integrated as fitting complements to the basic form and are further enhanced by a matte, polished, or painted finish. Color blocking, where the finishes on the shell, frames and casters all match, is available in black, grey, and white.

Verve does have an elegant, classic look. Surprisingly, that is the key to its innovation. The line was designed specifically to introduce a level of ergonomic comfort into a category of seating that has not, up until now, been designed in this fashion. Along with its careful attention to human factors, the chair has also been appropriately proportioned for contemporary users.

Verve provides outstanding comfort based on the shell’s built-in lumbar support and inherent flex, both of which promote healthy sitting and movement. Design functionality is optimized by Verve’s wide-ranging choice of options including 4- and 5-blade bases, excellent for conference, as well as 4-leg and sled base guest models.

The Verve plastic shell, offered in 14 colors, is available with seat pad, full liner, or fully upholstered. Swivel models include non-height adjustable, 4-blade bases on casters or glides and 5-blade bases with flex and gas lift. Side chairs may be sled base or 4-leg in steel, aluminum, or wood.

Verve was designed by San Francisco-based Mark Kapka. Mr. Kapka graduated from San Jose State University where his field of study was Industrial Design.

Greenguard Gold Certificate of Compliance and level® 1 certification are anticipated before end of 2016. The high percentage of steel, aluminum, and polypropylene make this product highly recyclable.
